Ordine: Hymenochaetales Famiglia: Rickenellaceae Genere: Peniophorella Specie:Peniophorella praetermissa
I'd like to know your opinion about this resupinate fungus that grew on Acer campestre branches still attached to the tree. The basidiomata are membranaceous, friable, finely pubescent and up to 120 microns thick. They are born on a hyphomycete that develops on the wooden layer. The basidia are tetrasporic and terminal, and the basidiospores are smooth and not amyloid. The hyphal system is monomitic with clamped hyphae. In the depth of the medulla there are abundant but inconspicuous gloeocystidia with negative yellowish SV content, that sometimes come to the surface of the hymenium. There are also abundant cylindrical hymenial cystidia sometimes sucapitate and up to 90 microns in length that exceed the level of the hymenium. I can't go any further than Hyphoderma s. lat. and so I would like to know your opinion about it.

Gli stephanocystidia spesso non si fanno trovare in Peniophorella praetermissa ma per fortuna in questa specie ci sono tanti altri elementi caratterizzanti
