Si tratta sicuramente di una Anisops. In Israele ci sono A. sardeus e A. varius.

Did you collected those insect with Oz on 20.8 ? because he gave me the same bugs in your photo and if so the last ID is Oncocephalus acutangulus. |

O. aspericollis was synonimized by Puton, 1884 and restored by Dispons, 1962 from O. thoracicus. Relationship between this group and O.acutangulus/pilicornis is shown in this Key:
- anterior femora with one single row of thorns. Posterior tibia without dark rings in means............................................. group O. acutangulus/pilicornis
- anterior femora with one row of thorns and, proximal, a second row of stronger thorns, posterior tibia dark in means ............... group of O. thoracicus/aspericollis

Thanks to Paris for the nice key.
In more general look O.aspericollis is brighter than O.acutangulus but it is not easy to get id from a photo since there are 15 species in Israel and some looks very similar.
P.S although O.aspericollis is endemic to Israel O.acutangulus is much more rare to find so I think you should be more please it's O.acutangulus photo |

I received only one male and I think it looks like both of the photo. Different photo angle can confuse since not all marks are symmetrical, for example the black mark on hindfemur is one-sided and not surrounding the leg as a ring.
But to be sure we need to ask Amir if they had seen more than one. |
