An interesting finding from today An unfamiliar male of Tetragnathidae - first time see.
Location: Tel-Hadid 25km east of Tel-Aviv. Habitat - Shady pine grove (typical local Mediterranean grove in this area). Found rest in the shade of big rock on old spider's web.
I agree with Pirata. Those palps definitely aren't of a tetragnathid, but they are typical of subadult male theridids. I'm pretty sure it's a sub-adult male Episinus sp.

U all right this is Episinus - Male After rechecking in the Founa Palaestina - Theridiidae In Israel we have only 2 Episinus spp
This one is Episinus israeliensis Levy, 1985 Common in the founding area but hard to find since its night active and hiding in the grass during the day time
