Hello there Alan, quite a few of us here can read English (me included, but perhaps that's because I actually AM English  !), or there's always Google Translate if you get really stuck. Not perfect, but better than nothing.

Thank you Sarah. Yes I had tried Google translate and then pasted the Italian translation back into English. I did not however say what I had intended! I am also having to translate all the instructions via Googletranslate as I go along!
I had tried attaching the image and had reduced the size etc but it seems it did not attach. I will try again! |

Very many thanks to you all. What a superb response. I had wondered about Horistus infuscatus for this one but had not thought it was recorded for Cyprus. There were several of them at the site including on flowers of Zosima absinthifolia and Helichrysum conglobatum.
I do have a few more Cyprus queries which I will post separately as well as a lot of species that are identified.I also have unresolved ones from Malta.
Levent - several of my images of Heteroptera (and of other invertebrates) are included in the recently published Wildlife of Cyprus (edited by my friends David Sparrow and Eddie John ). Is there a way in which I can send you a list of those that I have 'off-group'.
