I work on a short article about Sminthurides aquaticus for my blog I'm looking for some information which not show in my reference.
1. Is the Sminthurides aquaticus oviposit the eggs into the water or on the wet soil?
2. Since water puddle r temporary, what stage wait for the next season. Its should be the eggs but I did not find and reference for this in all the sources I read
3. if the eggs r the diapause stage in the dry season, how long (seasons)the eggs can survive?

The first photo show a male attach to a femael while another male check them or try to separate them. I have seen this act a few time while photographing
